LIV GALLOWAY

MSc (Distinction in Psychology), PGDipCIPs, BSc(Hons)

Liv is a Clinical Psychologist who supports people to respond differently to difficult emotions and experiences. Developing flexible psychological responses creates space to establish what a meaningful life might look like.

Since graduating from the University of Otago, Liv has gained experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in the community. Her special interests include anxiety and mood disorders, as well as tolerating stress and overcoming perfectionistic tendencies.

Liv’s collaborative therapy approach primarily draws upon Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) therapies. Specific interventions are determined alongside the client, and evolve as needed.
