Kate provides compassionate, evidence-based assessment and therapy for adults navigating a wide range of challenges. She draws on training across CBT, ACT, and Schema Therapy, tailoring her approach to what matters most for each person she works with.
For Kate, technique matters, but the relationship matters just as much because feeling genuinely heard is often what makes the rest of the work possible. She takes the time to understand the full picture of what is going on before matching her approach to what would be most meaningful for you.
Kate was born and raised in Wellington. Before retraining as a psychologist, she spent several years in the corporate sector, and that background still shapes how she works today: organised, professional, and comfortable building relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds. In the room, this translates into sessions that are structured but never rigid.
Kate's current caseload is primarily adults (18+). If you're enquiring on behalf of a younger person, feel free to get in touch — she's happy to talk through whether she might be the right fit.
